Road to Resiliency: A 5-Week Workshop on Tools for Our Mental Wellness and Resiliency
Road to Resiliency: A 5-Week Workshop on Tools for our Mental Wellness and Resiliency is a series designed to support the positive mental health and well-being of Jamati members. The objective of this program is to achieve basic mental health literacy, encourage an understanding of basic resiliency, and build an awareness of how to incorporate resilience in our lives, through stories from Jamati members with lived experience of mental health challenges and/or illnesses.
The schedule for the upcoming sessions is as follows:
- April 20 at 10am PT | 1pm ET
- April 27 at 10am PT | 1pm ET
- May 4 at 10am PT | 1pm ET
- May 11 at 10am PT | 1pm ET
- May 25 at 10am PT | 1pm ET
All sessions are 90 minutes in length and will take place via Zoom.
Each session will build on the previous one and it is required that participants attend all five sessions (in registering for this series, you are automatically registered for all five sessions).
All Jamati members aged 25 years old or above including multi-faith family members are invited to participate. To ensure confidentiality, sessions will not be recorded and will not be available for viewing afterwards.
Please register early to as space is limited. Once capacity is reached, a waitlist will be created, and individuals will be contacted if a space comes up.
To learn more about this series and to ask questions, an optional one-hour orientation session outlining the workshops will be held on April 6 at 10:00AM PT/1:00PM ET.
Please note, by attending the orientation, you are not committing to the five-week series. Attending the orientation is also not a pre-requisite to attending the five-week series.
