Ambassadors Program
We may often be asked questions by friends, colleagues, and others not familiar with the Ismaili community, such as:
- Who is the Aga Khan?
- What is the role of the Aga Khan as the Imam of the Ismailis?
- Who are the Ismailis?
- How are the Ismailis situated within the larger Shia community? Within the larger Muslim community?
- Are the beliefs and practices of the Ismailis different than other Muslim communities?
- How are the Ismailis responding to various contemporary societal challenges?
These questions may sometimes seem difficult to answer, and we may feel hesitant in articulating the core values of our faith and our community.
The Ambassadors Program was developed to enable murids to be able to articulate, with confidence, the Ismaili interpretation of Islam. The primary objective of the program is to equip graduates with the necessary context in order for them to confidently articulate their identity as a Shia Imami Ismaili Muslim to friends, colleagues, and others in society at large.
Registration is now closed.
