Mind Matters – Embracing Wellness Together
Youth Mental Health Week, a series of engaging virtual sessions and content for youth aged 13-25 years, will be held from March 25 to 29.
The sessions will be as follows:
1) Monday, March 25: Mental Health and Mindfulness
Join us for this empowering session, where we will share tips and techniques to combat stress and anxiety. There will also be featured interactive activities to help you practice mindfulness. Join us for a chance to unwind in this busy time!
2) Tuesday, March 26: Mental Health and Inclusion
This session will feature a youth speaker from Jack.org and will help you refresh your understanding of intersectionality and inclusion and how those impact our mental health. Come learn from a young leader’s experience in navigating their life through the intersection of community, personal identity and well-being.
3) Tuesday, March 27: Mental Health in the 21st Century
This session will feature a discussion on how to navigate our lives and mental health in the context of today’s trends and challenges. Join us for an engaging discussion on mental health and how it is impacted by factors such as social media and substance use.Each session will be held at 5:30pm PST | 6:30pm MST | 8:30pm EST
