FOCUS Canada: Delivers Critical Aid to Survivors

Following the earthquakes that struck parts of Turkiye and Syria causing tragic loss of life and catastrophic infrastructure damage, Focus Humanitarian Assistance (FOCUS), in collaboration with the agencies of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) mobilized rapidly to offer support.
Our partner in the region, the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat (AKAH) took the lead on the ground and worked closely with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) to assess and respond to the emergency.
