Call For Photo Submissions: Celebrating Persons with Disabilities

This week we commemorate the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The day is designed to promote inclusive, accessible, respectful and fair communities for all. Disability affects each one of us, and every of us has a role to play in promoting a more inclusive, caring community and world.

We invite members of the Jamat and our multi-faith family to submit images of children or family members with disabilities or those who have overcome particular challenges to demonstrate resilience in any number of ways. The images can depict an achievement, an activity, or can be any family or personal photo of which you may be proud or has special meaning. Its time to celebrate each other!

A selection of the photographs received may be shown during the pre-show countdown to Friday Night Reflections. The names of the murids will be identified in the pre-show.

The deadline to submit photos is Wednesday, December 2, by 3:00pm ET.
