Ready to get started?
1. Understand your strengths

In order to make informed decision about your career, it is important to gather information about yourself presently. List down all your soft skills, education and professional designations accomplished.

2. Research career paths

Start by visiting the Government of Canada Job Bank where you can search for the job you want, see the growth expected and learn about the specific skills you need. Make sure you also understand the requirements of a job and whether you are able to meet them (e.g. you may want to be a nurse but cannot work night shifts)

3. Take action

Based on your self-assessment and job research, make a decision on what next step can you take towards pivoting your career or growing it. There are a number agencies that have low cost or free programs funded by various government and organizations listed below. We have also handpicked some courses for you if you wish to take the first step on your own.
