Stress and Healthy Coping Event

Description

Featuring Alwaez Dr. Aman Haji in conjunction with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), a seminar on stress and healthy coping will be held on Saturday, March 30 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Headquarters Jamatkhana social hall. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the following:

  1. What stress is, how it can be positive and negative, and what strategies and skills we can use to interpret and manage our stress healthily.
  2. Understand the difference between "external stressors" and "internal stressors," why the difference is important, and to identify examples of each in our lives.
  3. Understand a faith-based approach to stress and healthy coping strategies.  

This event is limited to 50 registrants and is open to participants of all ages. Please register online.
