Sarah Thawer, known professionally as Sarah Drums is a distinguished musician born in Toronto, Canada, now based in Los Angeles, California. She started playing drums and singing at the age of 2 and her first stage performance was at 5.
Sarah has worked with the likes of A.R. Rahman, Jon Batiste, Steve Vai, Jacob Collier, Sheila E., Reggie Watts, Teyana Taylor, and Watsky, and has been recognized by jazz legend, Herbie Hancock and comedian, Bill Burr. Sarah recently worked with composer, Ludwig Göransson for the 2022 Disney & Pixar movie, Turning Red.
Sarah is currently working on her debut album, expected to release in 2023. Sarah encourages freedom of expression and vows to push boundaries as an individual and artist.
