STEAM and Entrepreneurship Program for High School Students
Alberta’s government is partnering with Shad Canada to create more opportunities for grade 10 and 11 students to participate in a STEAM and entrepreneurship summer program. The program runs every July at 19 Canadian universities across the country, where 1,000 high school participate in seminars, labs and hands-on learning.
Shad Canada will expand the program to include more high schools, and provide bursaries to more students who are female, Indigenous, low-income, or living in remote or rural areas. High schools will be contacted in the fall. Students can apply for the program during the winter, and successful participants will be selected in the spring.
