COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments

Anyone 60 years of age or older (born 1961 or earlier) can now get a COVID-19 vaccine at any of the mass vaccination sites.

Some regions are progressing into Phase 2 of the Provincial Vaccine Distribution Plan which is divided into priority groups as follows:

Primary

The primary group consists of the following:

  1. Adults between the ages of 60 and 79
  2. Individuals with a Highest-Risk or High-Risk Health Condition as follows:

Highest-Risk Health Conditions (take your medications to your appointment):

  • Organ transplant recipients
  • Haematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients
  • Neurological diseases in which respiratory function may be compromised (e.g. motor neuron disease, myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis)
  • Haematological malignancy diagnosed <1 year
  • Kidney disease eGFR <30

High-Risk Health Conditions:

  • Obesity (BMI >40)
  • Other treatments causing immunosuppression (e.g. chemotherapy, immunity-weakening medications)
  • Intellectual or developmental disabilities (e.g. Down Syndrome)
  • Residents, Essential Caregivers and Staff of High-Risk Congregate Settings
  • Adults ages 50+ in COVID-19 Hot Spot Communities, starting with older individuals and decreasing in age
Secondary

The secondary group consists of the following:

  1. Remaining individuals with At-Risk health conditions
  2. Essential workers who cannot work from home

South Sector

Eligibility is as follows:

  1. All adults age 60+
  2. All adults age 50+ (born 1971 and before) are eligible in the following postal codes/locations, regardless of health condition:
    • St. Mike's: M4X, M5A, M5B - Click here to book your appointment
    • St. Joe's: M6K, M6N, M8V, M9A, M9B, M9C, M9R, M9V, M9W - Click here to book your appointment
    • TEGH: M4H, M1L, M3C, M4A, M1K, M1M, M1J - Click here to book your appointment
  3. If you fall within the TEGH eligibility criteria for a vaccine and live in the South Sector, you can book a vaccine appointment at the Michael Garron Hospital - East York Jamatkhana Clinic for Sunday, April 11, 2021. Call the ACCESS Line at 1-888-536-3599 to book your appointment today. Appointments are required.

 

South/West Sector

All adults age 50+ (born 1971 and before) are eligible in the following region, regardless of health condition: south of Steeles Avenue, north of Eglinton Avenue, east of Humber River/Islington Avenue and west of Bathurst Street can book their appointments by clicking here.

East Sector

All adults age 50+ (born 1971 and before) are eligible in Scarborough if they have a health condition on the list, including HTN, COPD/asthma, heart problems, mental health problems, obesity, cancer, immune problems. Click here to book your appointment. Bring your medications to the appointment.

All adults age 65+ are eligible in Durham Region, regardless of health condition. Adults of any age with a Highest-Risk or High-Risk Health Condition are eligible for the vaccination. Click here to book your appointment. Bring your medications to the appointment.

West Sector

All adults age 65+ are eligible in Peel Region, regardless of health condition. Click here to book your appointment.

All adults age 65+ are eligible in Mississauga and Etobicoke, regardless of health condition. Click here to book your appointment.

North Sector

All adults age 65+ are eligible in York Region, regardless of health condition. Click here to book your appointment.
