Canada Recovery Hiring Program

The federal government has introduced the Canada Recovery Hiring Program (CRHP), which can provide eligible businesses with a subsidy of up to 50% of their staffing costs – whether that means hiring new employees, re-hiring people you had to lay off, or increasing hours for existing staff.
The program is similar to the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) both have similar eligibility requirements. Given they are both currently in place, business owners can apply for the one that provides a higher subsidy amount.
