Pluralism and Global Citizenship: Nurturing Empathy in Children

Description

Technology has changed the way children develop emotional intelligence. This session will discuss how parents and educators can encourage empathy in digital environments and help children appreciate the power of diverse views.

This informative webinar is being delivered by Mary Gordon: world-renowned educator, innovator, parenting expert, and founder of “Roots of Empathy”; as well as Dianne Gereluk: Dean of the University of Calgary’s Werklund School of Education.

This is the third session in the “Pluralism and Global Citizenship” series, which is being hosted by the University of Calgary in collaboration with the Global Centre for Pluralism.
