The Jamat is urged to continue to protect themselves and others by getting vaccinated.  Vaccine effectiveness against infection may decline over time - especially with the highly transmissible Omicron variant. Vaccines remain the best way to prevent severe illness and death.  Additional doses can boost immunity to improve protection and limit spread.

Everyone 18 years and older can get a third dose 5 months after their second dose and all vaccines approved for children require 2 doses at least 8 weeks apart to be fully protected. 

All those ages 5 years and older are encouraged to book an appointment to receive your second dose or booster for the COVID-19 vaccination on Friday, January 28 from 3pm to 8pm.

Both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are available.  Families should book one appointment per person, however everyone can be immunized together at the clinic.  Minors under 18 are asked to be accompanied by an adult.  Please bring your Alberta Health Care Card with you.
